Verdict

Capped For Victory may have too much experience for David Loder's Rinjani, with Temple Place worth a mention. The latter's trainer Michael Bell, won this 12 months ago with Ciel so any market moves should be note for the son of Sadler's Wells, a Vodafone Derby entry. Capped For Victory is also earmarked for Epsom next year and is in all the big late-season juvenile events. Not beaten far in both outings, his second to Rule Of Law in York's Listed Acomb Stakes makes him the one to beat. The step up to a mile will be in his favour and he can score before connections make further plans. Rinjani is a stablemate of Rule Of Law who shaped well enough on his Newmarket debut but the Royal Lodge entry will have to improve a bit to beat the selection, Capped For Victory who is set to justify his likely short price.
