A wide-open contest rounds off the card and many can be given chances on their best form but the principals look to be Sir Sandrovitch, Muara, and Valiant Romeo and the narrow vote is given to Sir Sandrovitch. The selection has been in good form of late without winning but a reproduction of his latest effort which saw him finish second behind Trick Cyclist would make him hard to beat. He runs off the same mark here and from what looks a good draw he is taken to continue the good form of the Richard Fahey yard. Muara rates the main danger as he won with a little in hand when beating Just Enjoy Yourself. However this looks tougher and he will need to improve again to win off this revised mark. Valiant Romeo will make a bold bid to make all but he looks sure to be taken on for the lead early and for that reason is passed over. Torrent is another with place claims on his best form but he has been done no favours by the draw. Of the remainder, Muktasb has dropped to a handy mark and could run well at a price but in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to Sir Sandrovitch.
