Wicked Daze may find it difficult to excel running off top weight but Los Nadis is an interesting option over this trip and Sarwin put in a better effort at Hamilton previously, but our pick is FORREST FLYER. This Jim Goldie trained gelding is a previous course and distance winner. A good first effort this year when appearing at Musselburgh to finish just half a length behind the winner is a good signal that he could find the sort of performance in this contest that he showed last July at this track. With a similar run here it could be enough to see off the competition. Wicked Daze is a fairly consistent sort but his best tries have been on the all-weather. He finished behind our selection last time and there has been little change in the ratings so we think he may end up behind again today. Sarwin has possibilities if shaping like previous winning efforts and Los Nadis is possibly better at hurdles than the flat. We side with Forrest Flyer to fly to victory.
