KING OF WINDSOR was catching the winner in the final furlong when finishing a runner up last time out but with an extra furlong here we fancy this progressive looking three-year-old to get the win ahead of Antarctic Desert and Music Festival. The pick has only ever run over shorter trips but has looked like he needs the extra furlong and today Ralph Beckett gives this gelding the slightly longer distance and this may pay dividends. Antarctic Desert has performed fairly in his last two starts after losing out by just three-quarters of a length when third behind Sailorman at Thirsk. This was over a similar trip and the Kevin Ryan trained option is not ruled out in this contest. Music Festival showed a lot of improvement to finish third last time, despite finishing more than eight lengths behind the winner. The trip looks ideal given the pedigree and with a couple of runs for experience may improve again today. The debut runners should be monitored in the betting but we go with King Of Windsor to put in a royally good performance and win here.
