Market support for Diamond MM would encourage supporters however there is some solid form around and it is one of the recent winners SPRINTER SACRE who gets the vote ahead of Inoogoo and Jaques Vert. Nicky Henderson doesn't send too many up to Ayr but this gelding showed a good attitude to score at Ascot. That looks a strong race for the grade and he might be able to carry a penalty to victory. Jaques Vert has his first run for a new yard and his Tetlami form reads well, Yes Tom ran well here last time under his penalty but this looks a better race, whilst Seren Rouge and Habbie Simpson may also have more to give after winning recently. Inoogoo is one of several interesting newcomers, with Diamond MM and Shannagarry also included in that group. The former was an expensive purchase a yearling and is bred to be speedier than many of his rivals, whilst Shannagarry is related to bumper winners and should like the ground. Kings County Star is another horse to treat with respect; he has only faced heavy ground to date but should put up a bold display with Andrew Lynch booked for the ride. The market will help, but Sprinter Sacre gets the vote.
