There are plenty in with chances in the finale, and only a tentative vote goes the way of Silverhay, with Logsdail, Reluctant Suitor and Freeloader all worth a mention. David Barron's charge may not have beaten much but did it nicely enough at Redcar in a lady riders' affair three weeks ago, so should again go well with conditions to suit. He makes more appeal than stablemate Mistress Twister who looks a shade high in the weights at present, and the five-year-old is the pick over Logsdail. The latter has not tried this trip for some time but is worth another go judged by the way that he has stayed on at Haydock and Newmarket in recent weeks. Reluctant Suitor is not certain to be suited by the drop back in trip, while Freeloader has topweight but is well handicapped on form of old. The pin comes down on Silverhay in what is in truth a tricky end to a marvellous three days.
