CHARINGWORTH may be out of the weights but looks a contender nonetheless and is selected here ahead of Stormin Exit, Chaninbar and Laskari. Ferdy Murphy's son of Supreme Leader has been racing over two miles of late but is better over this sort of trip. He likes good ground and has shaped in two runs this year as if his turn is not too far away. Stormin Exit flopped last time but that was on desperate ground so another chance is given, Raysrock chases a hat-trick and is considered off a 6lb higher mark, whilst Bill's Echo looks fairly treated and will love any drying of the ground. This better ground will help Five Dream last home but it remains to be seen how he'll react to blinkers, Bible Lord is a player now dropped in grade, whilst Tarotino, Takeroc and Mister McGoldrick all have a little to prove after their latest runs. Lord Henry's handicap mark refuses to shift because of his consistency, whilst Laskari is another who looks high enough in the handicap despite a patchy season. A bigger threat then may be Chaninbar who sauntered home at Aintree last time in splendid isolation. He really took to the first-time visor there as he burned off his rivals from the front and if in the same mood today then he could take some pegging back. Not an easy puzzle to solve, but preference is for the bottom-weight Charingworth.
