Verdict

KUIPER BELT easily won over hurdles at Perth on the first day of this month, his opening run for Gordon Elliott. He completed a double in consecutive days on the Flat last week though on both occasions over much further than this. He has a 12lb penalty to contend with but looks set for a four-timer as he's been showing plenty of basic speed. Remember Rocky hasn't been beaten far in his last three starts over the track and trip while Cool Run Girl came the closest she's been to winning a race at Hamilton last week. French Resistance won a 1m1f handicap at Carlisle then finished last of three when stepped up in trip and class at Pontefract. Mzuri is 0-36 but now on her lowest-ever mark and Ado McGuinness wouldn't be sending her from Ireland for the fresh air.
