John Feane and Jonny Levins place their horses exceptionally well in Ireland and both have representatives here. The former runs Curly Girl, who had her first start for the yard at Killarney last month and wouldn't be running here without good reason. The latter runs Jan Steen, who has been out of form but has dropped to such a lowly mark that it would be no surprise to see him bounce back. Another Irish raider, Rising Eagle, looks to have a more realistic chance after his close second at Navan in June. ACADIAN ANGEL came here a fortnight ago and very nearly carried her big weight to victory, just failing to catch Redarna. She's been left on the same mark and doesn't look to have any more to do. Be Bold attempted to make all that day but had no answer when the front pair went past but Stardrifter scored over the course and distance last month and missed the break on a return visit.
