Stellite is a tentative choice in a wide-open handicap, with plenty of dangers including Law Maker, Paddywack and Wainwright to name but a few. Stellite has been there or thereabouts on each of his six outings this year, and Jim Goldie's charge is sure to come on for his last outing here over seven furlongs just over three weeks ago. That was his run since March, and so it was no mean effort to finish third after meeting interference soon after the start, and although six furlongs is a bit on the short side for him really, he lines up fresh and fancied in a bid to recoup losses, having been sent off favourite on his return to the fray. Law Maker has obvious claims, having made all at Wolverhampton last time, and he should go close again, while Paddywack always comes flying at the finish and will get there one of these days. Wainwright beat Premier Prospect when they met at Hamilton, and although the latter has since been beaten there again, there should be little between the pair. Mr Wolf caught the eye at Hamilton two weeks ago and could be returning to form, so he can be considered for a place at least, but in a hard one to call it is Stellite who gets
