        Verdict

        INGLEBY STAR's recent form reads well and he is taken to see off course and distance winner Conjecture and also Toy Top. Beaten into fourth last time behind Rocketball at Musselburgh, the selection should go close with a repeat of that run. He handles any ground, looks well-treated on a mark of 57, and with one of the most experienced jockeys on board he can land the odds today. Feeling Fresh has a bit to prove at the moment, as does top-weight Conjecture however the drop in trip will suit and his last win came off just a 2lb lower mark. Serena Brotherton took one of these races last week and she has another good chance on Toy Top, although the Thirsk specialist has never won north of Newcastle before. Handsinthemist needs to improve for the step back up to six furlongs, whilst Coconut Moon has plenty to find with the selection on their Musselburgh clash last time out. The market may help provide some decent clues in this finale, but without that information we will side with Ingleby Star.
