In this hugely-valuable handicap, King Of Argos is selected ahead of Racer Forever and Mac Love. Bunbury Cup form comes under the spotlight here with the winner of that Newmarket race, Giganticus, possibly up against it on revised terms with King Of Argos, who was the runner-up that day, and the fourth and fifth, Dhaular Dhar and Racer Forever. Given that he is set to go up by two pounds in future ratings, King Of Argos gets the vote today, although Racer Forever, who raced in first-time blinkers in the Bunbury, flew home when the gaps appeared and can be rated higher than his finishing position. Ordnance Row looks progressive based on his Sandown win and can go well, while Mac Love is weighted to go well based on last summer's form. Royal Ascot winner Binanti has it to do, we feel, from his new mark, but Partners In Jazz can be given a chance based on his Victoria Cup run here in May. Uhoomagoo is back to a winning mark from last summer, while Third Set shaped as though he was on the up when winning at Newmarket last time on his first try at a mile. His chance is very much respected. Of the others, Malcheek is now weighted to go well, South Cape holds claims based on his best efforts and Danehillsundance is lightly-raced, tough and improving. It all adds up to a good race, with the selection being King Of Argos.
