DANIDH DUBAI holds a slender edge over African Skies, April Pride and Apres Choix from their encounter here in the Albany Stakes last month, and she can be fancied to make a bold bid to uphold the form. The Mick Channon-trained selection has improved since being stepped up to six furlongs and is getting better with each outing. The daughter of Noverre was denied a clear passage at Royal Ascot and, as Chris Catlin will no doubt be under orders to keep her out of trouble, we may witness a more forceful performance today. Apres Choix has a mixture of speed and stamina in her pedigree and it is open to debate what will prove to be her best trip. She has a bit to prove this afternoon. As does April Pride, who is beginning to look exposed. Richard Hannon's filly definitely needs at least six furlongs but still appears to have a bit to find with our hope. A similar statement applies to African Skies, who was trailing in her wake when Danidh Dubai made her move in the Albany. Still, she is going the right way and may easily be capable of making the frame. Others to bear in mind include Rosabee, who is thriving just now and deserves her place in the line up after winning her last three starts. This is undoubtedly a much tougher assignment, but she has a willing attitude and can make a good fist of things in this higher grade of competition. Kissing The Camera is also worth noting in the betting, as she could be anything. Jeremy Noseda's filly won her maiden in good style in May and, as she is likely to have improved for the run, the daughter of Galileo is worth noting in the betting. Nevertheless, it is hard to stray away from the Royal Ascot form and, with that in mind Dandhi Dubai has to get the nomination.
