Verdict

Bertinelli won a very competitive heritage handicap over 1m2f at Newbury where he looked as though today's longer trip would suit. The latter remark also applies to VALIANT KING, an impressive winner of a soft-ground Navan maiden and the type to win a decent handicap from this sort of mark. Perfuse followed a very easy victory on heavy ground at Nottingham with a convincing success over this trip on fast going at Doncaster but Wonder Legend is up 13lb for an impressive victory over 1m2f on the latter track. Davideo made all for an easy maiden victory over 1m2f at Newmarket but the son of Galileo is likely to be even better suited by this longer trip. Tagabawa was always travelling like a winner at Kempton and is another for the shortlist along with the unexposed Burglar.
