Verdict

Fortunate Fred reverts to hurdles after a short spell chasing but looks vulnerable again and he would not have beaten TIP TOP TONTO at Newton Abbot last July had the latter not fallen two out when going best. Richard Newland’s gelding is having his first start since but can shrug off the absence. Falanghina is making her hurdling debut after just one run in a bumper but Brian Hughes prefers her to winning pointer Time For Joy.
