        LIGHTNING POINT floundered in the soft going attempting to make all at Doncaster. This faster surface and the extra furlong should suit as his dam was a Listed winner over today’s trip and he’s preferred to stablemate and newcomer Skilled Master. Melisende is steadily improving without yet threatening while stable companion Fly Pass faced a tougher task at Newmarket last time and Starlust looks a likely improver.
