Funny Me and Hustle are interesting newcomers that may be good enough to take this first time out but preference is for John Gosden's Master Chef who looks to be going the right way and should on pedigree appreciate the cut in the ground. Mick Channon's Natmana has a pedigree that suggests a soft surface will suit so it came as no surprise to see the son of Alhaarth step up on his debut effort when a creditable second at Hamilton last time and he has to be respected. Quick Release showed plenty of promise on his Nottingham debut on fast ground and should handle the different surface today. Polygraph has shown only a modicum of ability so far, while Mr Keppel makes only limited appeal on his debut. More solid claims first time out may be held by Funny Me who represents the yard of Peter Chapple-Hyam that has done well with their youngsters this season and is bred to handle the ground. Richard Hannon's Hustle is bred for speed and could be of interest as well but Master Chef sets a fair standard and he is taken to win this.
