This will be tough going in bottomless conditions for these juveniles and Transmission can provide the answer to the puzzle, with Donegal next best and Climaxtackledotcom another to consider. The selection has had a couple of starts to date and can continue to improve to take this. Bryan Smart's colt finished only three quarters of a length down in third on soft ground last time and that bodes well for this contest, so he looks good enough to get his nose in front. Donegal put up a decent performance when runner up at Sandown on good ground when making his debut, but clearly has to prove he handles cut here and so is opposed. Climaxtackledotcom has at least attempted to race on this sort of ground and seemed to handle it well enough on debut at Newcastle, so with improvement for that experience Mick Easterby's runner can finish closer, while of the newcomers Hold The Gold has Selkirk in his dam's pedigree and may be able to handle this surface. However, Transmission is going the right way and can break his duck here.
