ASCOT LIME hasn't done a lot wrong of late and he can resume winning ways. The list of dangers is headed by Amanjena and Heaven Knows. Sir Michael Stoute won this race two years ago and Ascot Lime can win this for the yard once again. The selection was only narrowly beaten at Kempton last time when he ran out of steam in the final furlong. He is dropped slightly in trip here and this tough and progressive colt should take plenty of beating. Amanjena beat Australia Day over this course and distance last month and as she was returning from a three-month break that day she should come on for the run. Heaven Knows looks to have been in the grip of the handicapper of late, but he did shape with a bit more encouragement at Pontefract last time and on the back of that effort he is worth considering. Ladies Best will run his race but he hasn't won for over two years now and he is unlikely to change that statistic here.
