Verdict
Some nice types in opposition here and we will side with KITE WOOD to get the better of Anmar and Quai d'Orsay. The selection has a Derby entry and he won his maiden in fine style at Doncaster last time when he beat La De Two. The form of his previous run has also worked out well and we know he will handle the ground so he makes plenty of appeal. Anmar chased home Zafisio at Goodwood last time in a Listed race and Godolphin have been amongst the winners in the last few days. He should be the one to profit if the selection fails to fire, and although he is clearly no stable star, Godolphin did win this race last season. Quai d'Orsay made an impressive winning debut on soft ground at Hamilton. He is related to some thorough stayers so this slight drop in trip is not sure to play to his strengths and on that basis we will take him on. Michael Bell has his string in good form at present and Four Winds has to be of interest as he won well at Sandown last month when he beat Ra Junior. The form has since been franked in emphatic fashion so that maiden could work out to be quite a good one.
