prominent, hard ridden halfway, weakened over 1f out
held up towards rear, headway over 1f out, never able to challenge
chased leaders, hard ridden over 1f out, soon weakened

Milton Bradley has his team firing on all cylinders at present so Mythical Blue and Triple Dream have to be to the fore of our thoughts but it may be worth taking a chance with KAY TWO. He hasn't been at his best this season but the handicapper has finally relented and he's now on the same mark as when last successful a year ago. His claimer is good value for his 5lbs and he's a tentative suggestion in an open race although it's a little offputting that he hasn't shone on his two previous runs on the track. Servoca did run well here last time but is still a maiden on turf so looks one for each-way support as is Luminous Gold who comes here on the back of a couple of decent efforts. Sharpened Edge has run some sound races in defeat this season but she has had some hard races and of more interest is Step It Up who was in front of Luminous Gold at Newmarket and has the services of a good lad. Mythical Blue will find it harder to make all than he did at Goodwood and a stronger contender may be Triple Dream who didn't enjoy much luck in running when coming off the pace at the same track. There are any number of answers to this conundrum but our answer is Kay Two.
