Major Partnership and Dream Today are best watched having a first run since Dubai at the start of the year. Amanda Perrett runs two with Open Wide preferred to Count Otto, behind Mokaatil last time at Epsom. Three-year-olds have a good record in this and Alkaraama could not be in better form but has done all of his winning so far on the all-weather while course and distance winner Swindler was only fifth when favourite in this grade at Newmarket. Magical Ride has won four of his last five but this is a huge step up in class while Lethal Lunch seems much better over an extra furlong. Lightly campaigned this season, FILLE DE REVE (NAP) is now a pound lower than when landing this 12 months ago. She caught the eye at Newmarket two weeks ago and it’s possible that this has been the long-term plan. Golden Apollo is well treated nowadays and is another with decent each-ways claims.
