Lush Life is struggling to recapture her best and is now tried in cheekpieces. She probably faces a tough task giving weight to the three-year-olds of which DESIROUS may prove the pick. She couldn’t match the finishing speed of Mubtasimah at Newmarket in July but pulled much too hard. She is 4lb better off here and can reverse the form if finding some cover. Salayel hasn’t been beaten far the last twice in this grade so is an obvious danger while She's Got You has untapped potential returning from a break, though the form of her Newmarket victory in June hasn’t worked out.
