Cash In Hand is less exposed than most of these at the age of seven but needs to improve to trouble the judge and a safer bet looks to be the 12-year-old Imps Way, who gets the vote ahead of Beauchamp Oracle. The last mentioned stayed on well when successful at Cheltenham last time and again has ground conditions to suit so he has to be respected. Ifni du Luc would have claims on the pick of his form but disappointed at Cheltenham last time and may now be best watched, while Kausse de Thaix needs to improve on recent form to trouble the judge. Thatlldoya has little to recommend him and preference is for the consistent Imps Way, who is taken to resume winning ways in a weak looking contest by the track's standards.
