Peterborough continued their perfect League One start by blowing away Luton as a first-half bombardment led to a 3-1 success.
All three goals arrived before the break for Steve Evans' high-fliers - and all were a product of rapid breakaways.
Jason Cummings earned and converted the 17th minute opener from the penalty spot after being tripped by Hatters keeper Marek Stech, and Posh doubled their advantage just two minutes later as Siriki Dembele picked himself up off the deck to lash a fierce finish past Stech.
The points were effectively in the bag nine minutes before the break when a block from Rhys Bennett inside his own box provided the launchpad for their third goal which was coolly finished by Cummings following a Dembele run and pass.
Luton thought they had a lifeline moments later when referee Graham Salisbury pointed to the spot after Elliot Lee went down, but he changed his decision following a discussion with his assistant.
The visitors grabbed a consolation when Jack Stacey finished a deep cross from substitute Andrew Shinnie in the 78th minute and a brilliant block denied Sonny Bradley in a late Hatters rally which was to no avail.
