In-form Oxford United put a dent in Blackpool’s play-off aspirations with a 2-0 win over the Seasiders at a rain-lashed Kassam Stadium.
The U's went in front in the 29th minute when, after a poor clearance by Mar Bola, defender Ollie Turton appeared to head James Henry's cross into his own goal at the far post under pressure from Marcus Browne.
Henry then took his own tally to 11 goals for the season - equalling his best return in a campaign - with a second goal in the 41st minute to put the home side in charge.
Gavin Whyte crossed low from the right and Henry arrived perfectly to fire first-time into the net from 12 yards for his seventh goal in the last seven games.
In between, Blackpool were unlucky when Liam Feeney's angled shot came back off the near post, and in the second half Harry Pritchard scooped a shot over from 12 yards.
The victory stretched Oxford's recent run to just one defeat in 14 games.
