Colette Cavanagh scored an 89th-minute winner to hand Celtic a 2-1 win over champions Glasgow City and move her side to the top of the Scottish Women's Premier League.
Celtic moved two points above rivals Rangers with the win, while Glasgow City are now five points behind the league leaders.
The first half failed to live up to expectations but the match finally got going in the 70th minute, when Kenzie Weir brought down Celtic's Kit Loferski in the area.
Weir was sent off before Chloe Craig stepped up to dispatch the penalty for the hosts.
But Glasgow City showed the grit that helped them to become champions last season and fought back to level terms despite having 10 players as Lauren Davidson's strike deflected in off Kelly Clark.
But Celtic finally made their numerical advantage count when Cavanagh drilled in a brilliant winner in the 89th minute.
Celtic are now unbeaten in their last four matches with Glasgow City, while they have now won their first eight SWPL matches of the season.
Celtic's next game is a SWPL game at home to Motherwell on Sunday - kick-off 2pm. The Hoops then travel to Partick Thistle on Sunday October 15 - kick-off 4.10pm.
Glasgow City's next outing is at home to Spartans in the SWPL on Sunday - kick-off 1pm. They then host SK Brann in the Champions League on Wednesday - kick-off 7.35pm.
