Soapy Danger progressed well last season and he is taken to land this Listed contest; the list of alternatives is headed by Tranquil Tiger and Regal Flush. Mark Johnston's 5-year-old hasn't been disgraced on his two outings this season and he is eased in grade today. He has trip and ground to suit and he looks to have outstanding claims. Tranquil Tiger is respected as he won a Listed contest in good style at Newbury earlier in the month and he is clearly on good terms with himself at present. Regal Flush disappointed behind Tranquil Tiger in that Newbury race but he was returning from a break that day and he may come on for the run. Lion Sands is another that probably needed the run last time, and this longer trip will play to his strengths, so he is another with claims. However, Soapy Danger has developed into a class act and he should prove hard to beat.
