Richard Hannon has won two of the last three renewals and Mums Tipple is preferred to stablemate Cheat having made a winning start in a decent maiden at Ascot. Richard Fahey runs five with Show Me Show Me having leading claims on these terms. The latter steps up in distance but has the beating of both Raahy and Rayong on collateral form via Liberty Beach, who runs in the previous race, while stable companions National League and Three Coins are recent novice winners. William Haggas is another with a good recent record in this but St Ives was beaten in a handicap last time whereas Joseph O’Brien’s Latin Five has won a nursery at the Curragh. Piece of Paradise is a maiden winner with Frankie taking over the reins and Love Destiny and Sword Beach could go well but another chance goes to FLEETING PRINCE. The latter had to be snatched up in the Richmond Stakes at Goodwood last time and that run can be forgiven but Charlie Hills’ colt beat a couple of subsequent winners at Windsor before that and should go close today if running anywhere near his mark.
