In the card's feature race, Peeping Fawn is selected ahead of Alexandrova, Allegretto and Silkwood. Peeping Fawn has been a revelation this season and took her winning tally to three successive Group 1 victories when winning the Nassau Stakes at Goodwood last time. Prior to that she had won taken the Irish Oaks and last tasted defeat when runner-up in the Epsom Oaks. She is a class act and is the one to beat. Her stable companion Alexandrova, who won this race and the Irish Oaks last season, is interesting on her seasonal bow, while Group 2 Sandown winner Allegretto kept that improvement coming when landing the Goodwood Cup last time out and her chance is very much respected. As is that of the Ribblesdale Stakes winner Silkwood - Dalvina looks held on the form of that race - but Darfonah and Under The Rainbow need to find improvement if they are to feature in today's excellent renewal of this race. Once again, then, the selection is Peeping Fawn.
