Another sprint handicap puzzle, with MOTASHAWEQ given the chance to atone for a Hamilton defeat last time when looking likely to win after travelling so well. It was still a good effort and he's one of the few to remain unexposed after just a single handicap start from four outings. Texas Man is deserving of topweight after landing three handicaps from his last four starts and is likely to adopt his usual trailblazing tactics. He cannot be discounted. Iur Cinn Tra represents a yard which does well in handicaps here and is preferred to stablemate Beauzon, although both are respected Tim Easterby is also double-handed via The Dunkirk Lads and Mattice, preferred in that order, and recent winners Nomasee and Prodigious Blue are others with a claim along with Alia Choice.
