    Verdict

BLUE FOR YOU is getting closer run-by-run for David O'Meara since leaving Dermot Weld, although connections may not be overly happy with a 3lb rise for a half-length defeat here recently. Trip and ground are fine, as they are for Ghaly, who also has been hit with a hike - 4lb in his case - for last month's Hamilton second. It's a tough choice between the two but the O'Meara gelding is the preference. Red Mirage was determined in landing good handicaps back in the spring and should be all the better for his return at Ffos Las this month. Course regular La Trinidad will find this a culture shock as he usually does all his running in large-field handicaps but will certainly appreciate dropping to a mark of 90. Hartswood and Magnificence will need to find some improvement.
