Verdict

A typical York sprint handicap with Good Earth heading the weights after putting together a cracking run of form, culminating in a tidy success here last time in a similar contest. It's all a question of if he can maintain his impetus but he does now run off a mark in the 80s for the first time at the age of five. Muscika and Dream Together came home one-two at Haydock last week but the latter is weighted to turn the tables here. Our Little Pony recorded a recent course and distance success but a 9lb rise for her last two runs could make life difficult in such an open contest. LATE ARRIVAL (NAP) has been subjected to similar treatment by the handicapper but the style of his last two wins under Joanna Mason was impressive and it wouldn't surprise to see him go close to completing the hat-trick.
