Zero Tolerance is likely to be one of the best backed horses of the day and has outstanding claims. Little White Lie could be in the mix again whilst Raptor could go well at a price. Zero Tolerance failed to win during a disappointing campaign last term but his first few runs this year showed that all was not lost and he capitalised on his declining mark in no uncertain style at Haydock. A 7lb rise for that convincing success could well have been a lot worse and still leaves him fully 10lbs lower than his highest winning mark. He came up short in this race in 2006 but can add his name to the roll of honour this afternoon. Former Cumani inmate Pride Of Nation has been a bitter disappointment for his new yard thus far but he's 10lbs lower than at the start of the season, has a good record on the Knavesmire and on heavy ground. John Hills' horses have been running well enough in the main and he's an interesting outsider as is Raptor who is another proven mudlark. He has been eased in the weights following some average performances on decent summer ground but these conditions could see him in a better light and it would be no surprise to see him bounce back. Mia's Boy and Little White Lie are two handicappers that have been running with credit all season and, whilst both have claims, neither appeals as being that well handicapped. A leap of faith is required to row in with Lang Shining following a mulish display at Goodwood but Unbreak My Heart returned to form on soft ground at Haydock a fortnight ago and may be able to build on that. Given his age he won't be one for the stats boys but Zero Tolerance can roll back the years and strike a blow for the veterans.
