Verdict

The Gosdens’ yard sent out last year’s winner and the Coolmore-owned Operating bids for a hat-trick raised 8lb. Bay Of Honour is upped the same amount after scoring at Newmarket but is still preferred to stablemate New Kingdom while Leuven Power is penalised for winning a lower grade contest at Salisbury but is due to be raised a further 5lb after this. GOLDEN VOICE missed out on a treble when runner-up over 7f at Redcar but looks ready for a return to this longer trip and he gets another chance. Point Lynas won at Redcar last month with both Spirit Catcher and Encourageable behind while Bolthole may improve for today’s tongue-tie but System and Al Marmar are upped in class.
