The most eagerly anticipated race of the week with the verdict going to SARISKA over old foe Midday. Michael Bell's Oaks heroine was second in this race last year (when odds-on favourite) but that was on quick ground and the going today will suit her much more. A fine second to Fame And Glory in the Coronation Cup at Epsom, she can go one place better today to record a second win on the Knavesmire. Midday was second to her here in May in the Middleton Stakes (giving the winner 5lbs) but has since shown all sides of her character with a victory at Goodwood. Three-year-old's have a fine record in this race and Oaks starlet Snow Fairy takes her chance. She followed up her Epsom win with victory in the Irish equivalent and although the loss of Ryan Moore is a blow, she has an able deputy in the form of Richard Hughes. This track will suit the Epsom second Meeznah, whilst the Oaks favourite Hibaayeb has something to prove after flopping at Düsseldorf earlier in the month. Barshiba, Flying Cloud and Eleanora Duse should all come up short at this level.
