ROYAL DESTINATION may be a touch better than this lot and is forwarded as a confident selection. William Blake appeals as the leading hope of Mark Johnston's triumvirate of contenders (the Middleham-based trainer also sends out Yourgonnabelucky and Matraash), while Full Speed is also worth noting in the betting and can be a serious consideration for an each-way punt. A case can also be stated for Mull Of Killough, as he is improving at a rate of knots. But he has a stiff test as he faces older horses for the first time today. Full Speed has won here in the past but is obviously a tad higher in the weights. He is better than he consented to show last time out and could easily make the frame if he put his mind to the task in hand. William Blake was just behind the selection when they met at Glorious Goodwood but has his work cut out for him in a bid to reverse the form. Still, he has a big heart and can be virtually assured to give his all for Joe Fanning. He could have been better drawn, though. Therefore, it can pay to stick with Royal Destination, who is open to more improvement and he can be seriously fancied to get back to winning ways on a track that should suit him ideally.
