    Verdict

Mighty, Safqa and Wind Shuffle form the shortlist for the finale with the vote given to Safqa. The selection has twice been a little unlucky; she got an accidental smack across the nose with the winning jockey's whip when second behind Missisipi Star at Nottingham last time. She had previously been narrowly denied at Newbury behind Cortesia and she looks to have a really solid chance here. Mighty made a pleasing debut on soft ground at Newmarket last time when finishing third behind Cousteau. He is sure to come on for the run and he has to enter calculations. Wind Shuffle gave away ground at the start at Catterick last month so he did well to finish second behind Sir Orpen. He should be suited by the step-up in trip and he looks to have a leading chance. O'Tara should be suited by the drop in trip and is the other in with a chance. This is a trappy race to close the card and the narrow vote goes to Safqa.
