Richard Fahey saddles three here and though Paul Hanagan rides top weight Senator on his handicap debut it's Sammy Jo Bell's mount STARLIGHT ROMANCE (NAP) who gets the vote. The combination gained an impressive victory at Beverley, where there looked plenty more in the tank and a follow-up is envisaged. Chessman came with a powerful late burst to get within a neck of Bacchus in a tough Newbury handicap and there's lots more to come from John Gosden's colt, who was having only his second run. Orewa could probably do with even more rain as it was on the soft side when he landed a lucrative sales race at the Curragh while Battered had his first four starts on this track, winning a maiden in September. Harbour Grey has been handed a starting mark of 79 after his Doncaster maiden victory where he stayed on strongly over the furlong shorter trip.
