Verdict

Declan Carroll has booked Jim Crowley for Santry, who has a penalty to carry for a narrow Doncaster victory. Rocket Man Dan was six lengths behind on Town Moor but showed the benefit with a fine effort at Ripon where he may have won but for being impeded at a crucial stage. Palmer was well supported to make a successful debut at Pontefract but faded after showing good speed while Tangled also showed good early pace before weakening at Ascot. There are several newcomers with smart pedigrees engaged and SAVALAS, a £100,000 son of Zebedee, is given the nod though the Kyllachy colt It Don't Come Easy should have pace to burn.
