Verdict
CONTEUR D’HISTOIRE was the only one of these to show any worthwhile form last time and it’s a fair bet that Jonjo O’Neill’s five-year-old will have had plenty of schooling over the larger obstacles. Definitly Grey will have almost certainly needed his run at Kempton and is another who should relish the switch to fences having already won a point-to-point. Charlie Mon has been placed in six of his 10 chase starts but was well beaten in a lower grade last time at Chepstow.
