Verdict

Germany-based Dominik Moser sent Gracia Directa to win this in 2012 under Robert Winston and the stable have two entries this time. Winston is on board Sugar Free, who came to Haydock for the Cecil Frail Stakes in May but lost her chance when stumbling at the start. The winner, Buying Trouble, couldn't handle heavy ground at the Curragh next time but had been behind ARTISTICA in a Listed event at Nottingham earlier. Franny Norton gets the ride on the latter for the Moser yard and she looks the more likely winner having completed a double in a Group 3 at Baden-Baden where she had a subsequent winner at that level back in second. William Haggas has three engaged and Gravity Flow may prove best of them as she looked in need of the run at Haydock and won four times in her first campaign. Queen Kindly won the Lowther Stakes here in August and had been mixing it in top company before finding 5f too sharp at Ayr.
