        Verdict

        ONE MINUTE made a successful debut on ground with some give at Lingfield but then failed to land the odds on much quicker going at Yarmouth. She can gain compensation though more rain would aid her cause but Big Les has only run on Tapeta and led for most of the way at Newcastle last time. Declan Carroll's horses are running well and Abel Handy made all for a comfortable victory at Nottingham but the form has worked out poorly though he holds fourth-placed Peter Leonard. Pilkington won first-time-up at Newcastle before sent to Ascot for the Norfolk Stakes where he could never get competitive.
