Verdict

A novice winner at Leicester, Chattanooga Boy escapes a penalty in this seller though steps up in trip along with Lili Wen Fach, who also scored in novice company at Chepstow last week. But CALIPPO won over today’s distance at Lingfield before placing at Pontefract earlier in the week and Archie Watson’s filly may prove the one to side with in this. Sir Gordon was beaten only a neck in a selling race over the minimum trip at Goodwood recently while Speed Dating is expected to improve from a modest debut at Beverley representing last year’s winning yard. Classy Lady never threatened at Redcar but still finished ahead of Sparkling Breeze and The Trendy Man while Out Of Breath gets first-time headgear and Afterallthat is a newcomer to note for Richard Fahey.
