Verdict
HURSTWOOD coped well with the testing going at Carlisle when finishing runner-up ahead of Kilham. Tim Easterby’s colt can confirm running with the latter and go one better in this. My Kinda Day found one too good in a three-runner affair at Musselburgh last time and further progress looks likely while the same can be said of Newcastle second Olcan and the only filly in the race, She Can Dance. Asmund is a brother to a two-year-old winner over today’s trip and a half-brother to others and is a newcomer worthy of a second glance.
