Never Before was narrowly beaten at Dundalk before a reasonable effort in a better race at Naas where he looked as though another furlong wouldn't go amiss. Kocasandra has been racing in decent company, including a Curragh Listed race, while My Friend Stan was always in the front rank when dead-heating for second over the minimum at the Curragh. DAOUB showed real promise behind Sunday Sovereign at the Curragh where he didn't get going until much too late. With that under his belt he's taken to come out on top here.
