Sam Nombulist won this off a lower mark in soft ground last year and today's going could also prove a problem for this season's Doncaster winner Personal Touch. The latter finished ahead of Mabait at Chester last month while Day Of The Eagle has been raised 5lb and is upped in class after scoring at Newcastle last time. Stablemate Nameitwhatyoulike is struggling for form this year and Mappin Time was well beaten on his only previous attempt at today's longer trip. TARIQ TOO ran well on his comeback at Goodwood three weeks ago when fifth to Piscean over 6f. Back over his optimum trip for this, Amy Weaver's charge may prove good enough dropping down a grade.
