No sign of a winning favourite in the eight previous renewals and this year's contest looks no easier to fathom. Above Standard will start somewhere near the head of the betting having beaten Avon Breeze at Redcar last time with Profile Star further behind and Chooseday is likely to prove popular after going close at Chester recently. Another Wise Kid has claims along with Bedloe's Island and the latter is fancied to reverse latest running with Redcar winner Jack Luey on today's faster surface. UBETTERBEGOOD is back on the same mark as when scoring at Kempton in November but more pertinently is dropped in class after finishing three lengths behind Kingsgate Native over track and trip last time. Robert Cowell's sprinter should go close with a similar effort today
