An extremely tough opener as though Bally Longford will be strongly fancied after his promising start over this track and trip he faces stiff opposition. Spot Fine bounced back to form with a very good effort behind two decent performers at Cork and has to be on the short-list and though Sullane Chief was well beaten in that race he's much better than he showed and will be expected to bounce back. GOOD AS GOLD showed glimpses of ability before producing her best effort behind Tropical Three at Limerick and with further progress likely she's handed the vote. Killtilane Rose is another with claims though she may prefer some give.
