Dale Street was well supported on his comeback at Kilbeggan but ran no sort of race and was well beaten. He probably found the ground too quick so could do with some rain but the quicker ground appeared to suit THOMOND when he finished a close third at Down Royal and Noel Meade's winning point-to-pointer can gain his first success under Rules. Faustina Pius disappointed when favourite here last month where the ground may have been too lively and he's another who needs it softer. Goodoldhonkytonk is probably better than her form figures suggest but Our Lady Carmel looks more of a threat as she ran really well over the course and distance last time.
